Mezaparks (in Latvian: Mežaparks, the meainig - Forest park) is known as one of the most beautiful residential areas in Latvia. With a well-planned infrastructure that was implemented in the early 1900s, Mezaparks is a true architectural pearl and a place for peace. Mezparks was one of the first park neighborhood areas as a part of a city in Europe.

Which proves the historical uniqueness of the neighborhood. Nowadays the neighborhood is probably the most luxury neighborhood in Riga for residential estates. Mainly due to great architectural achievements in the first half of 20th Century. Of course, as in most of the neighborhoods in Riga, Soviet time architecture and planning partially destroyed the wholesome development of the neighborhood. Notwithstanding the preceding decline, the neighborhood never really lost its prestigious appeal.
